WELCOME
Christ The King Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
Jesus is our friend as well as our Savior. He invites us to ask for whatever we need in accord with the will of God. Sometimes, though, our friendship with Jesus may get ahead of our real needs. We ask for that which may be unwise & perhaps damaging for us. Today we see the Sons of Thunder, James & John ask Jesus for a special place in His Kingdom. They wanted to be numero uno! Jesus with love & prophecy straightens out their request. Yes, they will suffer as Christ will suffer. And, yes, the true disciple of Christ the King will be a servant & slave of all. Humility & service are the marks of your faith. Jesus is here to give us willing hearts & to strengthen us in the forgiveness of sins to serve & save.

What We BelieveOur congregation accepts and preaches the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
