Dear Friend in Christ,
Praying that you are well and healthy and safe in this time of anxiety, fear, and (sometimes) hopelessness.  Remember to "cast your anxiety on Him (our Father in heaven) because He cared for you."  Remember Jesus says to His disciples in the worst kinds of danger, "Fear not!"  He is with you.   And remember that we have an everlasting hope in Christ Jesus that will "not disappoint."
It's an ever changing landscape of rules and regulations and rumors and realities lately.  So, we update you on all things CTK.  A few items of interest:
We continue to livestream our devotions and services every evening at 7:00 pm and Sunday morning at 9:30 am via Facebook and you may also access the videos at ctkbedford.org.  Lots of content!
The services of CTK:  we continue to have our services in our beautiful sanctuary.  We have a skeleton crew of deacons and other volunteer servants to provide music, singing, and congregation responses.
The Lord's Supper:  Our Sunday Divine Service, as well as Maundy Thursday and Holy Saturday feature the Lord's Supper.  We have devised a perfectly safe and sanitary method of distribution that takes into account all physical distance requirements.  Those few servants in our sanctuary will be offered the Sacrament.

We also are aware that others of CTK may hunger for confession and absolution and communion.  For this reason, Pastor Loewe will be at CTK Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9:00-12:00 noon.  Please fell free to drop in and have a pastoral visit.

We will maintain total safe and sanitary ways for this opportunity.  Also we can set up a time more convenient for you.  Simply call Pastor Loewe and we'll make it happen.
Holy Week at CTK:  this Sunday, Palm Sunday, April 5 begins the most meaningful week of the Church year.  Jesus rides into Jerusalem and begins a week of preaching, teaching, suffering, sadness, and ultimately death.

CTK will offer services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday all at 7:00 p.m.

Of course, the 8th day, Easter Sunday is the most important in the the life of CTK and we will endeavor to make it glorious and beautiful for you watching and  participating at home.  Please take the time to  participate in this holiest of times with your fellow members and friends separated, but together in Christ.
Please keep in touch with one another.  Especially our older members who are not hooked up to computers and internet.  A simple phone call to these dear ones means so much as Pastor and Board of Deacons can attest.  And always, you may call Pastor or your deacon at your convenience.
Tithes and offerings:  We thank God for the continuing generosity of the members and friends of CTK.  We know that God does not need our money, but that indeed we need to demonstrate His own mercy and love to us by generosity to the Gospel at CTK.  Regular weekly giving is the biblical model we follow whether we give weekly, monthly or otherwise.  "Regular" is the model.  We do not as yet, have the capacity to receive online gifts, so bring them in person if you come to see Pastor Loewe or drop them in the mail to CTK, 2843 Sterns Road, Lambertville, MI 48144.
Please know that you are all being prayed for by name in this trial time by Pastor and the deacons.  We are very proud of you and ask God for every blessing in Christ for you and yours.
Much love in Christ,
Pastor Loewe and CTK Board of Deacons
