Operation Christmas Child Shoebox

10/12/2017

Picture
Sisters in Christ at CTK have pledged to help less fortunate children this year through Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian organization that for over 40 years has followed Christ’s command to act as the Good Samaritan did in the famous Bible story found in Luke, Chapter 12. The organization, through many programs comes to the aid of the worlds’ poor, sick and suffering. At the same time, they share the good news of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Last year alone, Samaritan’s Purse delivered more than 11 million Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children around the world. God used these simple gifts to change the lives of many boys and girls and their families.

We invited you to pack a shoebox for a needy child this year.
All shoeboxes and donations need to be turned into Christ The King Lutheran Church no later than
