 WELCOME! Today is God’s gracious invitation to His people to "come" to His blessings and the reality of Jesus Christ. He tells us the truth about ourselves. We use His blessings in this world to chase after that which is worthless and hurtful to us. We expend our efforts and work on that which is passing away and that cannot satisfy our real needs. What happens when we just stop digging that hole that is our grave in this world and listen to God? "I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David. Behold I made him a witness to the peoples. Behold you shall call a nation that you do not know and a nation that did not know you shall run to you." Jesus Christ, great David’s greater Son is the one who makes God’s New Covenant, the everlasting covenant of God’s mercy and grace and forgiveness for all nations and peoples.
