 WELCOME! It’s Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week and the most consequential events in all history as we experience the Last Supper, Calvary’s Cross, and, ultimately, the glorious resurrection of Jesus from death. We process into the sanctuary waving the palms of Jesus’ victory over sin, death, and Satan and quickly transition from joy to sorrow for this is Passion Sunday. The Gospel reading takes us to Calvary and Jesus’ death on the Cross to pay for the sin of the world. Today we will hear the Passion History of Our Lord in the traditional manner with several readers. Today is also Confirmation Day for Adrianna and Colby. They will confess the promises made for them at their Baptism and receive the Lord’s Supper for the first time. Truly, this is a day to remember and treasure.
