WELCOME! We have arrived! The Last Sunday in the Church Year and we celebrate Christ the King Sunday. The name of our congregation and the banner of God’s love and our victory in Christ: Christ the King! It is very important for us to remember and give glory to God. Today we conclude our year long look at the Gospel in the Old Testament with a Word from Ezekiel. The Lord God says, "I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I myself will make them lie down declares the Lord God. I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak..." Christ, our King is the Good Shepherd of His flock here at CTK and of the whole Christian Church. He deigns to be in our midst and His marvelous presence in Word and Sacrament is our motivation to share the Good News. Praise God for His mercy and grace in caring for His people.
