WELCOME! Today we continue with Prophet Isaiah speaking the Word of the Lord. In beautiful poetry Isaiah sings of Mount Zion, the place where God chooses to dwell with His people. "On this mountain...." Wherever God rules and wherever faith is found, death is made null and void. "And He will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples. The veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever." It is death that all of us fear the most. We run from it, we deny it, we rage against it. But, we cannot change it. "The wages of sin is death." Since we are all sinners, all die. Ah! Yet, there is God’s love for His people that takes precedence over sin and death. We see and know that love in Christ Jesus our Lord, He is the One who became sin for us and destroyed death in His own death on Mount Calvary and rose from death on Easter. Friend, come tothe Mountain of the Lord, CTK, and know forgiveness and eternal life!
