WELCOME! Today we see our Savior and King Jesus Christ enter fully into His ministry of saving the whole world from sin and death. "The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned." Now comes Jesus to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Yes, Jesus brings God’s Kingdom to us in each of our lives. Just as He called Peter and Andrew, James and John to be His disciples, "Follow me", so He calls us by His Word of life to follow Him right into heaven. Jesus continues to teach and heal and give Himself in His Word and Sacrament right here at CTK. Friend, hear and believe the Gospel. All sin is forgiven and paid in full by Jesus Christ. Be strengthened in a world united in hostility against Jesus and His Word. He blesses you immeasurably.
