Welcome! Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed! We are now in the third week of this glorious Eastertide. We continue our celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This provides great joy for us, although the theme of repentance into the forgiveness of sin may give us pause. St. Peter thunders in his great Pentecost sermon, "repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. The Apostle John exhorts us to put away the practice of sinning, "No one who abides in Him and keeps on sinning has either seen Him or known Him." What do repentance and joy have to do with one another? Only one who has the Holy Spirit and faith can really repent of sin. Perpetual gladness and eternal joys are ours through Jesus Christ, our Lord, He rescues us from the peril if everlasting death and brings us peace from heaven. TAGS: Service Announcements
Message from The King's Crown IN NOMINE JESU CHRISTI Jesus tells us, "take my yoke upon you and learn from me." There are many things we can learn from Jesus our Savior and Lord. Chief among them, how to pray. The great old lenten hymn above is really a survey of the passion of Christ Jesus. Each stanza a particular facet of His life and our life in Him.
